Tempietto technical art print
Technical art for sale. Hand drawn in the 80’s and 90’s right before computers took over. Tired of abstracts, impressions, and watercolors. Need something different? Perhaps this is what is right for you. Printed on canvas acid free, pigmented archival ink, with acrylic clear coat. 18” x 24” art framed with back/silver finished, hanging wire and rubber bumpers. Please note I would not recommend placement on a sunny wall.
Tempietto, San Pietro in Montorio. While on a trip I went to Rome and measured this building by Bramante built in the high Renaissance. The supposed site of St. Peter's Crucifixion, however the project was never finished and the courtyard was never developed. There was no drawing on what Bramante originally intended, fortunately from the 1400’s Serlio proposed this as a possible solution, it is only a guess. Feel free to wonder the possibilities and perhaps you may want to take a trip.
